Produce a research essay plan based on the research essay plan template available on Moodle. The essay plan shall be marked and you will be provided with formative feedback.
Identify and explore an assemblage of communication technologies discussed in the unit (suggested by or discussed in the readings or lectures). The essay plan is due week 8 but this should not stop you from enaging with readings later in the semester for the subject of your essay. This requirement is extremely broad and we will discuss possible assemblages in tutorials.
    MINIMUM REFERENCES REQUIREMENT
You need six (6) relevant scholarly references for your essay plan. These will contribute to the minimum of 10 relevant scholarly references required for the essay itself. You can include non-scholarly references, but they do not contribute to the minimum count. Of the scholarly references in the essay plan, four (4) must come from the unit. Including relevant references is worth 30% of the mark for your plan. To get the full full marks for this marking criteria you need to have relevant references. Please discuss with your tutor any confusion around this. As four (4) of the references must come from the readings in the unit, you will need to find an additional two (2) references.

Essay plan (worth 20% of final grade)
Clearly outline appropriate example(s) of communication assemblages for essay focus (50%)
Appropriate use of 6 scholarly references (30%)
Coherent expression and essay plan structure (20%)
